I make small handmade desktop games.
Right now there are two, and they're deliberately nothing alike.
The Forest of the Lost — First-person survival horror in Valdeoscuro county. You walk in at night to find ten coins and pay the gatekeeper's toll. By day the forest measures what it should; by night it doesn't. Two creatures share it and they follow different rules — one of them doesn't kill you, it only holds you still. Still is how the other one finds you.
in develop - PixelWater — A hydraulic engineering puzzle in pixel art. A sealed chamber, sand and water that fall and flow by their own rules, and a budget of drops that runs out. Fifteen installations to get working without ever touching them by hand: you can only pour matter in, or erase it. No enemies, no jumping, no reflexes. A broken pipe, a budget, and physics that won't negotiate.
I'm interested in fear and difficulty that come from rules, not from surprises. Nothing lunges at the camera to make you flinch, and no number is set because it felt about right: every PixelWater level ships with the recorded playthrough it was designed around, and if the engine can't reproduce it exactly, the build doesn't ship.
Both games are fully playable in English and Spanish, and both run completely offline.
